Who’s Awesome? You’re Awesome.

It occurs to me that all it takes to be awesome is to believe you are. The rest is all just hype and perception. It doesn't matter if anyone else believes it, as long as you do. I don't care how amazing a person you are, there are always going to be people who don't like you and you're better off remaining true to yourself and cutting them loose. Everyone ends up in a hole at some point in their lives so concern yourself with the ones who are prepared to send down a ladder when you find yourself trapped in the deep. To be truly awesome means you will still send down a ladder to the people who would leave you there if circumstances were reversed. Awesomeness is never about them and how they treat you, it's about who you are and how you treat others - even them.

Rise above and awesomeness will have no alternative but to follow you up.
