Lives Intersect

Roses on rocky sea shore

Sometimes you can try to do the right things for the best reasons, to the best of your ability, but life is complicated and we don't live isolated on our own islands. Lives intersect. Hopes, wants, and needs mesh and fray at the same time. The universe is a messy place where pain, confusion, and disappointment are easily accumulated. Black and white doesn't exist and every eventuality wrapped in possibility is awash in shades of grey. Too often, no matter how hard you try, hearts are broken and futures unmade.

For the part I play in the suffering of those I do and have loved, I'm sorry. I promise I have done my best.
